What we collect

• When you browse. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time). We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on these sites.
• Your language choice. The language switch (EN / ES / 中文) is remembered in your browser’s local storage. It stays on your device and is not sent to us.
• Fonts. modeltale.com loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google’s servers when you visit that site.
• When you email us. We receive your email address and whatever you write.
• When you join the Lingways pilot. The sign-up form collects your name, email address, which language you are learning and your level in it, your learning goal, preferred variety of Spanish, country, and anything you add in the note field.

How we use it

We use pilot sign-up details only to contact you about the Lingways pilot, decide who to invite, and plan the study. We use emails only to reply to you. Server logs are used to keep the sites running and secure.

If you are invited to the pilot, you will be asked to agree to a separate study consent before any learning data is collected. That consent will explain what the study measures and how results are reported.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Where it is stored

Pilot sign-ups are stored on our web host and sent to our company email. We keep them until the pilot ends, then delete them within 12 months unless you have enrolled and agreed to keep your details on file. Emails are kept as long as the conversation is useful.

Age

The Lingways pilot is for adults aged 18 and over. These sites are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to remove you from the pilot list. Email arvin@yaskalabs.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date above. Material changes affecting pilot participants will be emailed to them.
